BERLIN BERLIN
Written by: Jana Pulkrabek
Directed by: Alexandra Christensen

BERLIN at the end of 1920s is a city full of contrasts and a dance on the edge of a volcano! A wild celebration of culture like nothing known before, threatened by the abyss to come.

BERLIN BERLIN takes you to the dazzling Babylon era of one of the most vibrant and show-stopping cities of the time. In between World War I and World War II and amidst cultural icons the likes of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis, Kurt Weil & Berthold Brecht’s Threepenny Opera, Marlene Dietrich and  Josephine Baker ... this is the time and place when women start wearing pants and are conquering stage and society. A journey and play revisiting the German zeitgeist, characters and songs of this era –  no holds barred!
